Pumpkin Patch & Aunt D's House

Melynn is 7mths old!

Melynn turned 7mths on September 19th! She weighs 17lbs even ( I know this bc when we went to the doctor while she had the flu this past week they weighed her) I don't know her length but probably around 27 inches long. She's crawling around like crazy & wants to walk so bad she can't stand it. She tries to pull up on you or anything stationery, then looks around smiling at the view. In the past 2 weeks she has been sick twice 1 week with a stomach bug via her little friends at daycare and the following week she had the flu via who knows but if I did I'd smack them. Food wise she's over her Stage 1 foods so we'll start phasing those out soon. She has recently tried real mash potatoes & green beans & puffs ( which is a little snack that looks kinda like cheerios & they dissolve in their mouths). We're also trying to get her acclimated with a sippy cup. I say it almost every month she's growing up so fast! We're looking forward to our first Halloween with her not that she will go anywhere but some relatives & neighbors houses but still I love it. Stayed tuned next month to see what our little one dresses up as!

Weird

So far Melynn has been so tired she fell asleep while playing on her blanket, then fell asleep on her bumper pad!

Just a swingin!

Melynn is 6mths old!

Miss Melynn turned 6mths on August 19th & hasn't looked back since! This little girl is on the move! She is now crawling up a storm & even trying to pull herself up to walk! Her Mimi calls her little Miss Over achiever.....I just sigh bc my baby is growing up too fast! She's very into texture & is constantly grabbing things to stick in her mouth. Primarily the edge of our living room rug & the wires that connect to the computer. So we spend alot of time saying "No M'am" & just getting smiles back as if she has no idea what we're saying! At her 6mth check up she weighed in at 16lbs 12oz & 26.5 inches long! She's still eating her stage one foods but craving more food right now.
We started trying to get her to lay down for bed without us having to rock or get her to sleep basically self soothe.....well the first night was absolute HELL , she was crying, I was crying it was vicious.... however after that night we really haven't had too many issues.... of course this is the first week but we are talking about our over achiever! Stay tuned when next month Melynn turns 7mths old! Captivating isn't it?
