Just chillin on a sunday watchin "The Holiday" with Mom & Dad
Mom & I were about to take a walk
Last week was a big week for Melynn!
Here are our pictures from Easter Sunday & her 2mth pictures! I can't believe it's already been 2mths, our little girl is growing so fast!
Melynn started her first week of daycare on April 13th & I started back to work on the 15th. You can see the pictures below & as the first pictures indicates I was not doing well. I started crying even before I took her there, of course she had no idea what was going on and I think that made me even more upset. So I drove over there telling myself to calm down the whole time, in addition to cussing Andy bc he was not in town to share in this fun. I walked in with Melynn & her bags & basically dropped her & ran.........I didn't even kiss her goodbye & yes once I realized I hadn't I cried even more. Everyone called to check on me which I appreciate all the support & Andy called several times to check on me as well. I had decided that if by noon I was still upset I would go get her, but I made it till noon. Then I decided I would go pick her up at 330, before that I only called twice & she was sleeping both times... go figure. When I went to pick her up she was asleep still & perfectly fine.... I still wasn't bc I realized I had to take her back the next day. =( The week went on & I got used to her being there except on Wednesday when I went back to work... I called to check on her & could have sworn she was crying in the background. I have no proof but that sent the tears rolling, but I stayed at work & picked her up. Thursday & Friday were much better & I still called to check on her. It'll be a gradual process but I'll get used to it. The ladies at daycare are wonderful & said she was a good baby, she just pooped alot. We already knew that.....
Andy & I met back in 2001 in a land far, far away called Kentucky. Not to long after that...we were married. In 2008 we were surprised to find out that we were expecting our first child, Charlotte Melynn. We set this up so our family & friends can keep in contact with our new addition.
