A rainy day sunday & a sunshine walk

Just chillin on a sunday watchin "The Holiday" with Mom & Dad

Mom & I were about to take a walk

Last week was a big week for Melynn!

Here are our pictures from Easter Sunday & her 2mth pictures! I can't believe it's already been 2mths, our little girl is growing so fast!

Melynn started her first week of daycare on April 13th & I started back to work on the 15th. You can see the pictures below & as the first pictures indicates I was not doing well. I started crying even before I took her there, of course she had no idea what was going on and I think that made me even more upset. So I drove over there telling myself to calm down the whole time, in addition to cussing Andy bc he was not in town to share in this fun. I walked in with Melynn & her bags & basically dropped her & ran.........I didn't even kiss her goodbye & yes once I realized I hadn't I cried even more.
Everyone called to check on me which I appreciate all the support & Andy called several times to check on me as well. I had decided that if by noon I was still upset I would go get her, but I made it till noon. Then I decided I would go pick her up at 330, before that I only called twice & she was sleeping both times... go figure. When I went to pick her up she was asleep still & perfectly fine.... I still wasn't bc I realized I had to take her back the next day. =(
The week went on & I got used to her being there except on Wednesday when I went back to work... I called to check on her & could have sworn she was crying in the background. I have no proof but that sent the tears rolling, but I stayed at work & picked her up. Thursday & Friday were much better & I still called to check on her. It'll be a gradual process but I'll get used to it. The ladies at daycare are wonderful & said she was a good baby, she just pooped alot. We already knew that.....

This was me, before I took her

She had no idea where she was going

This is a pic of me & my sweet girl. On Monday, Melynn goes off to school as most of you already know. Keep me in your thoughts, bc Andy will be off in Knoxville training for Aflac, so I will be taking her alone. These women will have to kick me out, honestly..... knowing me I'll take some pics, most of them may be ugly but I'll post them anyway. Tomorrow will be Melynn's first Easter we'll take some pics & post those too!
Devon & I decided to goof off a little & take some pictures of Melynn..... she decided she wouldn't smile today.... but lay lethargic in this basket....I know secretly in her little head she's cussing me for putting her in this situation. Little does she know that she will be put in numerous situations like this for years to come! Get ready little one this is just the beginning!

Dobber wanted to hear the rainforest too!

I decided Dobber needed a kick in the head..... mom agrees

Well Folks......
We had a great time at Devon & J's wedding. Everything went off without a hitch, so all that worry for nothing! Congratulations to Devon & J!!

Unfortunately I was so focused on keeping my sister some what sane on her days before & during the wedding that I did not take too many or really not any of my sweet baby girl at the wedding. She did look gorgeous by the way, and seemed at moments to steal the spotlight away from her Aunt Devon. Ha-Ha!

Melynn is about to be 7 weeks tomorrow, she's beginning to sleep more & develop a personality ( even though it seems a little dramatic) We get constant smiles, Andy tells her not to waste all of them on me however he seems to forget I hold the key to the kingdom so she will definitely smile at me more for sometime! We are all doing very well & adapting to lack of sleep & the demands of a newborn. I'm enjoying her so much & now regret that I have to go back to work next week. I need to play the lottery........ Melynn will start school in Mt. Juliet next week & hopefully adapt well, I'm very nervous about this whole situation, but I know she will be in good hands or bad things will happen if my girl is mistreated!

Husband Update... Andy has started with Aflac this week, & goes to training in Knoxville next week ( yes, he will be gone the first day of Melynn going to daycare & myself starting back to work, so I will break down alone.) But we are happy, & optimistic that his new job is going to be the start of great things for the Boles family!

I've heard other people have taken pictures of the wedding so I'm working on getting copies, once I do I'll post some. Otherwise I'll take some more this week.
