Yes, Ladies & Gentlemen it is starting! Melynn is getting up on all 4's & trying to crawl. Our worlds are about to be rocked severly! She can get up & move her legs but can't quite coordinate her arms to move with her legs... So she rocks back & forth scooting herself along. It's just a matter of time before she's moving! I thought she would have sat up before she crawled but unless she gets lazy she may be crawling first! Stayed tuned!!!
On the weekend of July 17th, we ventured down to Georgia to visit the New's, a few Ryan's & guests.....We are greatly indebted to our hosts the New's bc they were coming back from vacation in addition to Jen & Ryan having colds so all they needed were guests right? We spent that Saturday at the park meeting the Cogbill's & playing with the kids. Melynn Cogbill is who we got Melynn's name from or at least one of the sources. It was so nice to finally meet her & her wonderful family. I took a picture of Melynn & Baby Melynn as a keepsake to put in her book. We then went over to Uncle funny Randy & Aunt Bonnie's for a great dinner ( as always) & family fun. Needless to say we were all exhausted as were the little girls ( Ryan & Melynn) that night, everyone slept well. We enjoyed visiting & appreciated everyone's hospitality very much! I can't wait to visit again!
We had our annual Firework Show in the neighborhood, Melynn wasn't too impressed. She had a full belly & a short attention span so needless to say she was crashed out before the show got going. Beforehand she have fun in her bouncy seat & a little bath time in her favorite bath towel!
Nanna, Cissy, & Dava came to visit a few weeks ago. We played all day long & had alot of fun! Thank you for coming to visit!
So we started out with Green Beans... she wasn't too impressed.... moved on to Peaches... again nothing.... tried Sweet Potatoes and we got somewhere with those, but not quite. We ventured to Applesauce & Bananas..... not a smile or one of her "I like this" squeeks. So we go back to Sweet Potatoes thinking we had good luck with those the first time.... nope back to square 1..... so we venture on trying to find the food that will peak her interest. Until then here are a few pictures from our adventures..... also the one at the bottom that was after her Green Beans.... apparently we aren't feeding her fast enough.......
