It doesn't happen often...but here I am with my sweet baby girl

Look at you, you have a baby... in a bar!

We met up with Aunt Bubba & Family in downtown Nashville a while back. It was very hot & miserable so we stopped at The Stage ( a bar) to cool off. Melynn ran up & down the top deck of the bar entertaining herself & other patrons. The best part getting to quote Sweet Home Alabama....yes I had a baby in a bar & I was estatic bc I thought that would never happen......EVER. Don't worry friends it wasn't at midnight or smokey or filled with unruly single guys...it was in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday with very quiet guests ( not including my screaming baby) We enjoyed it & so did she bc as soon as we hit the car & got it cooled off this little cowgirl was all tuckered out!

Keeping up

Some will try..........most will fail. Can you keep up with Melynn? I know we're challenged everyday and wouldn't change the view for the world!

Melynn's awesome Dad built her a fort in our living room to play in. Isn't he just the greatest?

Mothers Day

This year we celebrated our 2nd Mothers Day together. We took more pictures this year thankfully! Bc last year I have one barely visible picture of Melynn and I... ( looks awful) This year however we have trumped last year by a long shot. Andy, Devon, & I had the family over & made a wonderful Mothers Day lunch for everyone... I enjoyed the day soo much spending time with some of my most treasured people in my life. I am truly lucky...

P.S Melynn is not looking at the camera in any of these pics....she was not having a good weekend and did not want to sit still...

1st Trip to the Zoo!

We took Melynn on her first trip to the Zoo and she enjoyed seeing all the animals that she points to in her books. As you can tell Daddy toted her around most of the time... but I was there in the background behind the camera...keeping the moments a memory via a picture. And as you can see she was all tuckered out once we left...( I'll have you know this picture is after a long....very long breakdown) Oh and the sign....has 2 "Devon" calves listed... Shout out to Aunt D! Holla!
